A new creation: from broken to healed & restored

A misguided search for love and acceptance led me into a world of drugs and life in a motorcycle gang. A victim in a violent gang war, I suffered two gunshot wounds from an M16 rifle. The pain and suffering from that act of violence was the beginning of a long journey of recovery. Alone in a hospital room, I was m16consumed with shame, anger, and fear. In my determination to start a new life, I encountered the hope and healing of God’s transforming love. This message of deliverance and hope is a testimony of a life changed by the hand of God. Psalm 147:3 ~ He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

God Meets Us in Our Broken Places

Brokenness is a reality for all of us. Contrary to how the world may define brokenness, nor how tempted we may be to resist it, brokenness brings blessing. Jesus was broken for you. The blessing of brokenness is to choose the way of the cross and to lay down your self-will. The best way to heal a broken heart is to give God all the pieces. You are not too broken to be whole again. Psalm 34:18 ~ The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit.

Your Baggage Isn’t Too Heavy for Jesus

The Lord not only wants to carry your burdens, but He also wants to help you unpack the weight of regrets, guilt, unforgiveness, bitterness, and brokenness. These emotions are too heavy for you to carry alone. Your past does not define your future. His sacrificial love secures the freedom and joy we experience in trusting Him. We have help and hope from our Savior, who tells us to, Cast all our anxiety on Him because He cares for us. ~ 1 Peter 5:7

You Are a Daughter of the King

Why Jesus Loves Bikers (Biker Friendly Churches)

I once lived inside the world of biker gangs until I became a wounded victim in an outlaw biker gang war. A painful journey through emotional, spiritual and physical trauma led me to an encounter with God’s transforming love. Jesus meets us right where we are. He doesn’t ask us to change before we come to him. He offers His abundant love, His amazing grace, and His endless mercy to anyone who will receive it – and that includes bikers! There are no misfits in God’s kingdom. John 8:36 ~ Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.
